Emergency — act first; don’t wait for us.
Gas:if you smell gas, leave the home. Don’t touch switches or use a phone inside — call911or your gas utility’s emergency line from outside.
Carbon monoxide:if a CO alarm sounds, or anyone feels dizzy, sick, or confused, leave and call911.
Electrical:smoke, sparks, or a burning smell. If there is any sign of fire, leave and call911. Turn off the breaker only if you can do so safely.
